They bought our office chairs

We had a small manufacture. It was a family business. My grandfather started it many years ago. He was a carpenter and he was doing many things like chairs and tables. His small workshop turned into a company when my father decided to follow his steps. So when I was a boy I learnt everything about making chairs tables and many more different things. Our small business was doing well. We were selling our products in the area we live in. I decided to work there also but few years ago we started to have financial problems. The biggest companies were selling their products in big malls and our small business had no chances. Especially when cheaper things from Asia started to overflow our market. And people started to buy cheaper and badly made furniture. Some time ago we decided to close our manufacture. We were no longer available to keep it working. But at the same time an agent from one of the biggest furniture making companies called us. He wanted to buy our project of office chairs. As we needed money we agreed. Our Office chairs model was supposed now to be produced in Asia and we got pretty nice money for that. And after two months the same big company decided to buy our small manufacture from us. We agreed as they also offered us job for them. For us it was new beginning. The future looks just great for us and all thanks to an old model of an office chair made long time ago by my grandfather.
