Collecting gold bullion coins

My name is James, I live in the United States and I have been collecting gold bullion coins and currencies from many foreign countries for five years. I started primarily for personal purposes and I treated it as a hobby. I got coins from my best friends on different occasions, I bought them on the Internet or in special shops. Now I am also concerning investment purposes to make some profit. I have to tell you that I just realized here is a big difference between numismatic coins and "raw" gold bullion coins. I am excited that I can put my own money into something that increases its value over time, just to see that something is growing. I know that investing in gold bullion coins requires more advance skills and knowledge about how it really functions. But I have my advisors who tell me everything about investing, when and how and now I guess I am doing pretty well. I have to admit that I have also learnt a lot. I have read a lot about it and I listen carefully to experts. It is very nice to have a hobby. Collecting gold bullion coins still remains to be my hobby despite of the fact that I am trying to earn some money. And when I am rich I will buy myself a house in a countryside and I guess I will still invest my money into gold bullion coins.
